Tripledot Studios has acquired mobile publisher Supersonic from Unity for $40 million.<\/p>\n
Unity announced plans to divest Supersonic earlier this year after shutting down its IronSource network.<\/p>\n
Supersonic became part of Unity in 2022 through an all-stock merger with IronSource valued at $4.4 billion.<\/p>\n
Supersonic will continue to operate as a standalone company under the Tripledot Group brand, led by its current management team and remaining based in Tel Aviv.<\/p>\n
“Joining Tripledot means finding a new home built specifically around scaled game publishing, with the capital, technology, and user acquisition expertise,” Supersonic CEO Igor Bereslavski told GamesBeat.<\/p>\n
“The combination of Supersonic’s publishing expertise and Tripledot’s vast resources can further help our developer partners to build and launch successful games in partnership with us. Our day-to-day commitment to those partners isn’t changing. It’s the same core team, tools, and hands-on support, just backed by a much bigger, faster engine behind it.”<\/p>\n
