## The Evolution of a Dancefloor Anthem: Michael Bibi and KETTAMA Drop ‘MYSTERY OF RAW’

The electronic music scene is buzzing following the official release of “MYSTERY OF RAW,” a collaborative powerhouse from Michael Bibi and KETTAMA. This track is more than just a new single; it represents a major achievement for the duo, as they secured official clearance from the legendary group Wu-Tang Clan. Given the hip-hop icons’ notoriously protective stance over their catalog, this collaboration highlights the track’s undeniable cultural weight.

### From Underground Secret to Global Release For years, the track existed primarily as a “dubplate”-a secret weapon played exclusively in high-energy festival sets. Fans would frequently scour social media and set recordings, desperate to identify the song that was tearing up dancefloors from Ibiza to London. The track’s backbone is a masterfully integrated sample from the 1994 hit track “Da Mystery of Chessboxin’,” which provides a gritty, nostalgic texture that bridges the gap between classic boom-bap and modern house music.

### A Strategic Partnership with CircoLoco Records This release is particularly significant given the current landscape of the music industry, where sample clearance can often take years of legal negotiation. The fact that this track has finally seen the light of day is largely attributed to Michael Bibi’s deep-rooted history with the CircoLoco family. By leveraging these industry connections, the duo has successfully transitioned a fan-favorite bootleg into a polished, commercially available anthem that is already dominating streaming charts and club rotations worldwide.

The journey of “MYSTERY OF RAW” is a testament to the power of word-of-mouth in the digital age. The project first took shape in 2018 when KETTAMA sent a rough demo to Michael Bibi. What began as a private exchange between two producers quickly evolved into an underground phenomenon.

The official rollout is being handled by CircoLoco Records, a label born from the synergy between the renowned club brand CircoLoco and the gaming giant Rockstar Games.
