Apple has officially pulled back the curtain on its latest flagship lineup, introducing the iPhone 18 Pro and the 18 Pro Max. Perhaps more significantly, the tech giant has finally entered the foldable market with the highly anticipated iPhone Duo.

The release strategy for these devices is staggered to accommodate a massive global demand. For the standard Pro models, pre-orders kick off this Saturday, September 12, spanning 65 initial markets. This primary wave includes major hubs such as the United States, India, the United Kingdom, China, South Korea, Germany, Australia, and France. Customers who secure their units early can expect deliveries to begin on September 18, with a secondary expansion reaching 20 additional nations by September 25.

The iPhone Duo follows a slightly different timeline. Enthusiasts looking to get their hands on Apple’s first foldable will need to wait until October 16 for pre-orders, with the first units shipping on October 23. A broader rollout to 28 more countries is scheduled for October 30.

As Apple pushes the boundaries of mobile hardware, the cost of entry has shifted. Compared to last year’s pricing structure, the iPhone 18 Pro and 18 Pro Max see a $100 price hike in the US market. Below is the current pricing landscape for the new lineup:

Global Rollout and Availability

While the $100 increase may be a point of contention for some, it positions the iPhone 18 Pro series as a premium investment in a market where foldable devices like the iPhone Duo are now setting a new “ultra-premium” tier, starting at nearly $2,000. This move mirrors trends seen in the broader smartphone industry, where manufacturers are increasingly segmenting their portfolios to cater to both power users and those seeking experimental form factors.

|
