### Huntington Beach Vibrates: A Recap of the 2026 Sun Soaked Experience

The Southern California coastline once again transformed into a dance music mecca as the annual Sun Soaked festival returned to Huntington Beach. Curated by electronic music icon Kaskade, the event has evolved from a simple beach party into a cornerstone of the OC’s summer calendar. This year, the production reached new heights, blending high-energy performances with an expanded array of interactive fan experiences.

#### A Curated Lineup of Rising Stars and Industry Titans

The 2026 edition of Sun Soaked boasted what many attendees are calling the most ambitious roster in the event’s history. The festivities kicked off with a showcase of burgeoning talent, featuring sets from Esse, Lavern, and ME N U. These artists set a vibrant tone, drawing in early crowds as the beach began to fill with fans eager to secure their spot near the stage.

As the sun began to dip, the energy shifted with a high-octane set from D.O.D, who expertly transitioned the atmosphere from a daytime beach vibe to a full-scale concert environment.

#### Innovation on the Sand: Beyond the Music

This year’s iteration introduced a fresh layer of engagement: the inaugural Sun Soaked volleyball tournament. The addition proved to be a massive hit, offering a unique opportunity for fans to interact with the festival culture in a physical way. In a surprising turn of events, Kaskade himself stepped onto the court, bridging the gap between performer and fan in a way rarely seen at major music festivals.

#### The 360-Degree Spectacle

The highlight of the weekend was undoubtedly the experimental B2B performance between BUNT. and Kaskade. Breaking away from the traditional stage setup, the duo performed in a 360-degree configuration positioned directly in the center of the audience. This immersive approach allowed for a more intimate connection between the artists and the crowd, effectively erasing the barrier between the stage and the sand.

With Kaskade delivering two distinct, career-spanning performances throughout the weekend, the 2026 event solidified its reputation as a must-attend destination. By balancing top-tier production with community-focused activities, Sun Soaked continues to set the gold standard for beachside electronic music festivals.
