The recent ABGT700 milestone celebration at The Gorge Amphitheatre was an unforgettable experience, though not entirely for the reasons organizers intended. While the weekend was a massive success for the Anjunafamily, Mother Nature intervened on Saturday, forcing a three-hour production halt due to dangerous wind conditions. This disruption unfortunately led to the cancellation of sets from J Ribbon and ilan Bluestone, while Oliver Smith’s performance was significantly truncated.

Rather than leaving the narrative of the weekend defined by the weather, the team at Anjunabeats has orchestrated a creative solution. To ensure the artists who missed their moment in the spotlight get the stage they deserve, the label has announced ABGT700.2.

This intimate, 700-capacity event is scheduled for October 29 at the iconic 26 Leake Street venue in London. The lineup features the three artists impacted by the Washington weather: Oliver Smith, J Ribbon, and ilan Bluestone.

The scheduling of this London showcase is far from coincidental. By hosting the event the night before the official 700th episode of Group Therapy Radio airs, the organizers have found a way to weave these performances directly into the milestone broadcast. Recordings from the London gig will be integrated into the ABGT700 celebration, effectively turning a logistical hurdle into a unique, multi-continental experience for the global fanbase.

Since its inception in 2011, Group Therapy Radio has evolved into a cornerstone of the electronic music landscape. It serves as a vital platform for the trance and progressive house genres, consistently acting as a springboard for emerging talent on the Anjunabeats and Anjunadeep imprints.

Reaching the 700-episode mark is a rare feat in the fast-paced world of dance music media. To put this longevity into perspective, the show has outlasted countless digital trends and industry shifts, maintaining a weekly presence that few other radio institutions can claim. By prioritizing the artists who were sidelined at The Gorge, Above & Beyond continues to demonstrate the community-first ethos that has kept their radio show relevant for over a decade.

Strategic Timing and Global Integration
