The development team at Embark Studios is gearing up for the release of “Frozen Trail,” the most ambitious content drop for ARC Raiders to date. This expansion transports players to the icy, treacherous terrain of Pendola Pass. Beyond the atmospheric shift, the latest promotional footage provides a clear look at the lethal challenges awaiting scavengers in this frost-bitten landscape, while also revealing the redesigned character model for Celeste, which now mirrors the likeness of her voice actor.

While Celeste hints at the presence of advanced, undiscovered technology hidden within the pass, the primary objective for players is the wreckage of a downed Emperor-class machine. The circumstances surrounding the destruction of this massive ARC unit remain shrouded in mystery-assuming it is truly deactivated at all. With rival ARC units converging on the crash site to secure the asset, players must navigate a high-stakes race to scavenge the wreckage before the opposition can consolidate their position.

Infiltrating the crash site is far from a straightforward task. The area is heavily guarded by the Frigate, a colossal transport vessel capable of deploying waves of reinforcements. Players will need to decide whether to attempt a daring infiltration of the ship itself to turn its resources against the enemy or remain on the surface to engage the opposition directly.

The ground-level threat is bolstered by three distinct new enemy types:

The “Frozen Trail” update is scheduled to deploy on October 8th. To celebrate the launch, Embark Studios is hosting a limited-time free-to-play event across all platforms, allowing new recruits to experience the chaos of the Pendola Pass firsthand from October 8th through October 12th. Whether you are a veteran scavenger or a newcomer, the addition of the Frigate and its accompanying mechanical legions promises to redefine the tactical landscape of the game.

The Mystery of the Fallen Emperor
