The landscape of professional League of Legends is shifting. In a landmark moment for the Brazilian scene, the CBLOL 2026 Split 2 Grand Final-featuring a high-stakes showdown between LOS and FURIA-officially eclipsed the peak audience numbers of the North American LCS Summer 2026 finals.

According to data provided by Esports Charts, the Brazilian championship reached a staggering 289,992 concurrent viewers on Saturday, October 10. This performance outperformed the LCS Summer Grand Final, which took place just five days prior and recorded a peak of 279,217 viewers. By securing an additional 10,775 spectators, the CBLOL managed to edge out the North American league by a margin of roughly 3.9%.

The data highlights a broader trend of surging interest in regional leagues throughout the 2026 season. Both the CBLOL and the LCS have experienced significant upward momentum, though the rate of expansion in Brazil has been particularly aggressive.

To put this growth into perspective, consider the trajectory of the CBLOL: This represents a massive year-over-year increase of approximately 80.2%. While the LCS remains a cornerstone of the Western League of Legends ecosystem, the rapid scaling of the Brazilian audience suggests that the global hierarchy of viewership is becoming increasingly competitive. Much like a rising tide lifting all boats, the increased production quality and narrative stakes in both regions have successfully captured a larger share of the global esports audience, proving that regional leagues can still generate massive excitement in an evolving digital landscape.

Explosive Growth Trends in 2026
