GOLF+ Expands Virtual Fairways with Tiger Woods’ Payne’s Valley Debut

The virtual reality golf landscape is evolving rapidly, and GOLF+ is leading the charge by integrating one of the most anticipated layouts in the sport. Payne’s Valley, the inaugural public-access course crafted by legendary golfer Tiger Woods, has officially arrived in the GOLF+ ecosystem. This release marks a significant milestone for the platform, which continues to bridge the gap between professional-grade course design and home-based VR simulation.

A New Era for Putting Practice

Beyond the addition of the course itself, the developers are rolling out a dedicated “Immersive Putting” application. This standalone tool is designed to isolate the nuances of the short game, allowing players to refine their stroke mechanics without the distractions of a full 18-hole round. Notably, any progress or data accumulated within this new app will seamlessly sync with the primary GOLF+ game, ensuring that your virtual handicap remains consistent across both platforms.

The Big Cedar Lodge Collection

Payne’s Valley serves as the vanguard for a much larger expansion. Over the coming weeks, GOLF+ will introduce a comprehensive suite of courses located at the renowned Big Cedar Lodge in the Missouri Ozarks. Players can look forward to navigating the challenging terrain of:

* Buffalo Ridge: Known for its rugged beauty and free-roaming bison.

* Ozarks National: A masterpiece of course architecture that highlights the region’s natural limestone bluffs.

* Top of the Rock: A premier par-3 experience.

* Cliffhangers: A highly anticipated addition that promises dramatic elevation changes.

A Tribute to a Legend

The inclusion of Payne’s Valley is more than just a technical update; it is a heartfelt homage to the late Payne Stewart. A Missouri native and a titan of the sport, Stewart’s legacy is cemented by his three major championship victories: the 1989 PGA Championship and his iconic U.S. Open wins in 1991 and 1999. By bringing this course to the digital realm, GOLF+ allows a new generation of players to experience the strategic depth and aesthetic brilliance of a layout designed to honor one of golf’s most beloved figures.
