Their approach to live music is rooted in a philosophy of total immersion, which recently manifested in a literal &#8220;anointing&#8221; of their workspace. Rather than relying on standard festival infrastructure, the pair took the unconventional step of sourcing hundreds of kilograms of concrete to construct their own bespoke DJ booth.<\/p>\n<p>This hands-on ethos was on full display this past September at the <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/mixmag.net\/feature\/draaimolen-dance-music-festival-review-2024-tilburg\">Draaimolen<\/a> festival. Maya Bouldry-Morrison, recognized globally as Octo Octa, was captured scaling the very structure they had meticulously transported and assembled across the Netherlands.
