MIBR Targets LOUD Duo for 2027 Valorant Roster Overhaul

In a bold move to reshape their competitive trajectory, MIBR has set its sights on acquiring two high-profile talents from LOUD: Lukxo and Erde. This strategic pursuit marks the first concrete step in the organization’s previously announced plan to completely restructure its Valorant division ahead of the 2027 season.

A New Core for a New Era

Rather than attempting to salvage their existing lineup or reintegrating players currently sitting on the bench, MIBR is prioritizing a clean slate. The organization’s management has made it clear that the goal is to build a fresh foundation around this specific duo. By securing Lukxo and Erde, MIBR hopes to inject championship-level experience directly into the heart of their roster.

Proven Pedigree: The LOUD Connection

The interest in these two players is hardly surprising given their recent dominance on the international stage. Both Lukxo and Erde were instrumental in LOUD’s triumphant run at Champions 2026, where they secured the world title. Furthermore, their consistency was on full display throughout the 2026 season, including a strong second-place finish during the VCT Americas Stage 2.

To put their impact into perspective, consider their tenure:

* Lukxo: A veteran presence who has been a staple of the LOUD ecosystem since 2025.

* Erde: A rising star who joined the squad in 2026, making an immediate splash during his debut in Americas Stage 1.

Strategic Rivalry in the VCT Partnership

This potential acquisition highlights the intensifying competition within the VCT partnership program. MIBR is not merely looking for talent; they are actively attempting to poach key components from a direct rival that currently holds the world championship trophy.

As the 2027 season approaches, this move signals a shift in power dynamics. By targeting the core of a world-class team, MIBR is signaling to the rest of the league that they are no longer content with mediocrity and are willing to invest heavily to challenge the current hierarchy of professional Valorant.
