During their recent tour stop in São Paulo, BTS icons Jin and Jimin took a brief hiatus from the global stage to immerse themselves in the local esports culture. On Tuesday, October 27, the duo made a surprise appearance at the high-tech training center belonging to LOUD, one of Brazil’s most prominent gaming organizations. Rather than opting for typical tourist activities, the pair spent their downtime grinding through ranked matches of League of Legends, enjoying a traditional Brazilian barbecue, and touring the facility’s cutting-edge infrastructure.

Maintaining privacy for global superstars is no small feat, especially in a city as vibrant as São Paulo. To ensure the visit remained under the radar, the LOUD team went to extreme lengths, even staging a fake pest-control closure to deter onlookers and fans from gathering outside. The operation was so discreet that the facility was essentially locked down, allowing the artists to focus entirely on their gameplay.

The technical setup was equally personalized. To make the BTS members feel at home, the LOUD staff meticulously reconfigured the gaming PCs to operate in Korean, ensuring a seamless user experience. This level of hospitality highlights the growing intersection between K-pop fandom and the global esports community-a sector that has seen massive growth, with the global esports market valuation projected to surpass $4.3 billion by 2024.

The story of this clandestine visit was eventually revealed by Victor “Coringa,” a popular Brazilian streamer and co-owner of LOUD. During a recent broadcast, he recounted the surreal experience, noting that the connection was facilitated through long-standing personal ties. The logistics were set in motion when Bruno “PH” Bittencourt, a fellow LOUD co-founder, reached out to coordinate the visit.

Interestingly, the arrival was so well-timed that Jin actually reached the training grounds before Coringa himself. This rare crossover between the world of chart-topping music and professional competitive gaming serves as a testament to the universal appeal of titles like League of Legends, which continues to dominate the MOBA (Multiplayer Online Battle Arena) genre with millions of active daily players worldwide.

The Logistics of a High-Profile Secret
