Following recent teasers regarding a budget-friendly alternative to its flagship tablet lineup, iQOO has officially unveiled the iQOO Pad Pro 8.8 in the Chinese market. This launch, which occurred alongside the new iQOO Neo12, positions the device as a strategic more affordable sibling to the premium iQOO Pad Ultra. While it shares the high-end DNA of its predecessor, it introduces a distinct chipset configuration tailored for gamers seeking value without compromising on thermal management.

The iQOO Pad Pro 8.8 is built for visual immersion, featuring an 8.8-inch AMOLED panel that delivers a crisp 2304×1440 resolution. Gamers will appreciate the 165Hz refresh rate, which ensures fluid motion in compatible titles. The display is exceptionally bright, boasting 1,600 nits of full-screen brightness and reaching a staggering 4,500 nits in local peak scenarios, making it highly visible even in challenging lighting conditions.

Under the hood, the tablet is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, augmented by iQOO’s proprietary Q3 gaming chip to optimize frame rates and latency. Memory configurations are equally robust, offering up to 16GB of LPDDR5X Ultra RAM and 512GB of high-speed UFS 4.1 storage. The device operates on OriginOS 7 HD, built upon the Android 17 framework.

A standout feature of the Pad Pro 8.8 is its sophisticated “Ice Dome” cooling architecture. To maintain peak performance during extended gaming sessions, iQOO has integrated a 30x30x3.5mm active cooling fan paired with dual vapor chambers and copper fins. This comprehensive system provides a total heat dissipation surface area of 23,253mm², effectively preventing thermal throttling. Despite this heavy-duty cooling, the tablet remains remarkably portable, featuring a sleek metal unibody that measures just 5.74mm in thickness and weighs only 298g.

For those who use their tablets for content creation or video calls, the device includes a 13MP rear camera capable of 4K video recording and an 8MP front-facing sensor. Powering these features is a substantial 9,020 mAh battery, supported by 66W wired fast charging, ensuring that users spend less time tethered to a wall outlet and more time in-game.

 Display and Internal Hardware Specifications
