In a significant move to recalibrate their competitive trajectory, Sentinels have officially parted ways with Jonah “JonahP” Pulice and Gurjiwan “Jerrwin” Gill. The organization confirmed these roster changes via social media on Friday, October 30, marking the end of a challenging campaign for the VALORANT squad.

This decision follows a lackluster 2026 season where the team struggled to find consistency, ultimately missing out on both the international Masters tournaments and the prestigious VALORANT Champions event. With the competitive landscape becoming increasingly cutthroat-as evidenced by the rising parity in the VCT ecosystem-Sentinels are clearly looking to pivot toward a more successful future.

The departure of both players comes after a relatively brief stint with the organization. Having signed with Sentinels in March 2026, their tenure lasted less than eight months. CEO Rob Moore has already signaled that the front office is actively scouting for new talent to fill the vacancies, aiming to solidify the lineup well before the commencement of the VCT Americas 2027 season.

JonahP’s arrival at Sentinels on March 6, 2026, was met with high expectations, given his proven track record in the North American scene. Before donning the Sentinels jersey, he was a key figure for G2 Esports. His reputation was largely built on his instrumental role in securing the VCT Americas Ascension 2023 title while competing under the banner of The Guard, a victory that cemented his status as a top-tier tactical shooter talent.

As the organization looks to rebuild, the pressure is on to find players who can replicate that championship-caliber performance. With the VCT Americas 2027 season looming, the upcoming roster announcements will be critical in determining whether Sentinels can return to the top of the regional standings.

A Short-Lived Tenure
