As the autumn season approaches, Insomniac has officially confirmed that its flagship Halloween production, Escape Psycho Circus, will return to the NOS Events Center in San Bernardino. Marking its 17th year, the festival aims to build upon the momentum of its highly acclaimed 2026 installment, solidifying its status as the premier destination for electronic music fans during the spooky season.

Since its inception in 2011-originally debuting under the moniker “Escape From Wonderland”-the event has undergone several identity shifts, evolving from “Escape: All Hallows Eve” into the globally recognized “Escape Halloween” brand.

What sets this festival apart from standard concert experiences is its commitment to world-building. It functions less like a traditional rave and more like a sprawling, open-air horror film. Attendees can expect a fusion of high-octane electronic beats and theatrical immersion, featuring:

* Interactive Haunted Zones: Elaborate, walk-through experiences that challenge the nerves of even the bravest festival-goers.
While the full artist roster remains under wraps, the 2026 event provides a clear blueprint for what fans can anticipate. Last year’s programming showcased a diverse sonic palette, with a heavy emphasis on high-energy house music and aggressive hard dance subgenres. Given the festival’s history of hosting industry titans, attendees should prepare for a multi-stage takeover that caters to both mainstream EDM enthusiasts and underground bass music fans.

Industry data suggests that large-scale immersive festivals like Escape are seeing a resurgence in attendance, with major electronic music events contributing significantly to the regional economy of Southern California. As production values continue to rise, the 2027 edition is expected to push the boundaries of pyrotechnics and stage design even further.

Tickets for the two-day extravaganza are scheduled to go on sale this week via EscapeHalloween.com. Insomniac will offer a variety of tiers, including General Admission (GA), GA+, and 21+ VIP options.

Prospective attendees should note that Insomniac utilizes a tiered pricing model. To secure the lowest possible rate, it is highly recommended to purchase tickets as soon as they are released, as prices are guaranteed to climb as the event date nears and inventory decreases.

* Artistic Installations: Massive, surrealist sculptures that serve as the perfect backdrop for the festival’s eerie aesthetic.

* Themed Environments: The 2027 edition will see the return of iconic zones such as the Fair of Lost Souls, Voodoo Ville, Crazy Town, and the namesake Psycho Circus.

What to Expect for the 2027 Experience
