The fun and lighthearted single brings forth an astounding mix of synths and vocal effects that elevate each element gracefully.

The release builds on the duo’s electrohouse roots as they explore a grittier, more fearless sound. Moreover, the track feels eerily familiar yet entirely new. This is the type of track that feels most authentic through a pair of beat-up wired headphones. Glitchy and brash from the onset, Louis The Child’s heavy kicks are juxtaposed with Sofia’s delicate yet cutting vocals, pulling listeners into the track’s blasé attitude.

“We met Anna Sofia earlier this year and hit it off immediately. The day we
wrote “Forget Your Name” was actually a day we were supposed to finish another song, but Anna came
in talking about this new fakemink song. We loved the contrast of the pretty guitars and hard drums in it,
and thought it could be fun to make something that played with a similar type of contrast. The verse
sections of “Forget Your Name” are very pretty and floaty,

 » More Info >>>

Chicago native electronic music duo Louis The Child get together with first-time collaborator and magnetic vocalist Anna Sofia for their newest single ‘Forget Your Name’.
