Upgrade Your Home Theater Setup for Less
If you’ve been waiting for the perfect moment to unlock the full potential of your 4K display, your opportunity has arrived. Portland-based technology journalist Brad Bourque, whose work has appeared in major publications like WIRED, Business Insider, and Digital Trends, highlights a significant deal for those looking to refresh their streaming hardware.
Through September 13th, you can secure the Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K via Woot for the bargain price of $16.09. To claim this discount, simply apply the promo code FIRE30 during the checkout process.
Why This 2023 Model Remains a Top Contender
While this device debuted in 2023, it remains a powerhouse for modern entertainment. Equipped with 2GB of RAM and Wi-Fi 6 connectivity, it offers the snappy performance required for high-definition streaming and cloud-based gaming platforms like Nvidia GeForce Now or Xbox Cloud Gaming.
It is worth noting that this hardware is functionally equivalent to the current Fire TV Stick 4K Plus. Following a rebranding effort in late 2025, the device was renamed to distinguish it from the entry-level 4K Select model. By opting for this deal, you are essentially getting the “Plus” experience at a fraction of the standard retail cost.
Seamless Integration and Smart Features
Beyond its raw processing power, the Fire TV Stick 4K is designed for convenience. It provides native support for an expansive library of streaming applications, ensuring you have access to all your favorite platforms in one place.
Furthermore, the integrated Alexa voice assistant streamlines your viewing experience. Instead of manually navigating through endless menus, you can simply use voice commands to jump directly into your preferred content. As streaming habits shift toward more personalized, AI-driven discovery, having a responsive voice interface has become an essential feature for any modern living room.
