Lava is launching the Virat Curve in India on September 21 at 12 PM local time. Ahead of that, the brand has revealed the phone’s main specs through a dedicated microsite on Flipkart, which will obviously be selling it.
The Virat Curve has a 6.67-inch 3D curved AMOLED display with 1080×2400 resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and a 1,100-nit peak brightness. It’s powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7100 SoC, paired with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.
On the rear you get a 50MP camera using Sony’s IMX752 sensor, as well as “unique” Mini Display, which shows notifications, music controls, custom messages, battery status, and emojis. Keeping the lights on is a 6,000 mAh battery with support for 45W fast wired charging.
The phone has dual speakers, an IP64 rating for dust and splash resistance, it’s MIL-STD-810H certified, and runs clean Android 16. Lava promises two major OS upgrades and three years of security updates for the handset. The Virat Curve has a fake leather finish on the back, and will be available in Heritage Indigo and Makrana Ivory.
