Ironworks: East London’s New Industrial Hub for Electronic Music
A fresh cultural landmark is set to redefine the East London nightlife landscape this autumn. Situated at Thames Wharf in E16, Ironworks has officially unveiled its inaugural programming schedule. Spanning from Saturday, October 3, to Sunday, November 1, 2026, the venue will host a series of six curated, artist-led takeovers. The debut season boasts a powerhouse roster of electronic music heavyweights, including Jamie Jones, Eric Prydz, CamelPhat, Appetite, and Charlotte de Witte.
A Strategic Partnership in Production
The creation of Ironworks is the result of a collaboration between LWE (London Warehouse Events) and the urban regeneration specialists at PROJEKT. By merging LWE’s extensive background in large-scale festival production with PROJEKT’s expertise in grassroots community development, the venue aims to bridge the gap between high-octane electronic spectacles and the raw, immersive intimacy of a dedicated warehouse space.
The Autumn Lineup: A Deep Dive
The season kicks off with a bespoke showcase from Jamie Jones. Rather than a standard DJ set, Jones is curating a unique experience featuring surprise guests and exclusive live elements, serving as a launchpad for his upcoming creative direction.
Following this, Eric Prydz will take the stage. Given that Prydz typically commands massive festival main stages and arenas, his appearance at a venue-sized location is a rare treat for London fans. The industrial aesthetic of Ironworks provides a fitting backdrop for his signature blend of atmospheric soundscapes and high-end visual artistry.
Mid-season, the venue will host a highly anticipated mystery act. While details remain sparse, organizers have teased that the performer is a titan of British culture with deep ties to the underground scene, promising a live show that will likely be a highlight of the year.
The Liverpool-based duo CamelPhat will also grace the stage, granted the rare luxury of a four-hour extended set. This format allows the Grammy-nominated pair to move beyond the constraints of a typical club slot, offering a sonic journey that standard bookings rarely permit.
As October draws to a close, the London-based collective Appetite will take the reins for a Halloween weekend takeover. Having evolved from a grassroots DIY project into a major force in the capital’s nightlife, this event marks their most ambitious production to date.
The season concludes with a headline performance by Belgian techno icon Charlotte de Witte. Her appearance is being billed as a landmark moment in her London touring history, cementing the venue’s status as a premier destination for global techno talent.
More Than Just a Dance Floor
Ironworks is positioning itself as a cornerstone of the Newham community rather than a transient club space. The project is deeply integrated with local economic goals, featuring commitments to local hiring, collaborations with independent neighborhood vendors, and various community-focused initiatives.
