Awakenings Announces Expansive 2026 ADE Programming at the Sugar Factory
Even as the summer sun remains high, the global electronic music community is already shifting its focus toward the industry’s most significant annual gathering: the Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE). As the undisputed titan of the techno world, Awakenings has officially unveiled its comprehensive schedule for the legendary Sugar Factory. From October 21 to 25, this industrial landmark will serve as the epicenter for eight specialized showcases, reinforcing its reputation as the primary destination for House and Techno enthusiasts during this five-day marathon.
Industrial Sanctuary: The Sugar Factory Vibe
Located in the historic Halfweg industrial complex, the venue offers a unique aesthetic that bridges the gap between raw, gritty warehouse culture and high-end production. This year, the space is being reimagined as a dedicated sonic sanctuary. With the full roster of artists now public, attendees can anticipate a meticulously crafted exploration of the underground’s most cutting-edge sounds, ranging from industrial warehouse techno to melodic, atmospheric house.
A Five-Day Marathon of Sound
The programming is structured to build intensity, starting with a high-octane Wednesday launch. The opening night features a formidable lineup including 999999999, Adrian Mills, FUMI x Serafina, Nurus, and Noyse, setting a blistering pace for the week ahead. Thursday elevates the experience as Adam Beyer leads a massive Drumcode Takeover. This session is set to be a masterclass in peak-time techno, with a lineup featuring Enrico Sangiuliano b2b Ilario Alicante, Kaufmann, Kevin de Vries b2b Konstantin Sibold, and Victor Ruiz.
As the event moves into the weekend, the sonic palette diversifies. Friday focuses on deep, hypnotic grooves with performances by Ben Klock, Philippa Pacho, Amoral x Lobster, Chlaer and Alarico’s Funk Assault, JakoJako x Rodhad, and Yaruba Acosta. Saturday highlights include Joris Voorn’s “Trip to Galaxy” showcase, which brings together Jeff Mills, Beste Hira x Grace Dahl, Bianca, Blasha x Allat, and Joris Voorn. The night concludes with an immersive, extended set from Adriatique, supported by Brina Knauss. The final day, Sunday, pivots toward a more vibrant, high-energy soundscape with Benwal x DJ Heartstring, DJ Gigola x Pegassi, Helena Lauwaert, and Southstar, before Prospa closes the festivities alongside Isabella x Traumar and two surprise special guests.
