London’s Iconic fabric Club Announces Massive 30-Hour Milestone Celebration
The legendary Farringdon nightlife institution, fabric, is gearing up for a monumental milestone this October. As the venue marks its 27th anniversary, it is continuing its tradition of hosting an expansive, multi-day marathon event that pushes the boundaries of club culture.
A Weekend of Non-Stop Electronic Music
Spanning from Friday, October 16, through Monday, October 19, the club will host a staggering 30 hours of continuous programming. This celebration serves as a testament to the venue’s enduring influence on the global electronic music scene, especially following recent infrastructure improvements, such as the fabric upgrades to the iconic Room 1 dancefloor, which received its first major overhaul since the club’s inception in 1999.
FABRICLIVE: The Bass-Heavy Kickoff
The festivities commence on Friday with a dedicated showcase from FABRICLIVE, the venue’s long-standing platform for UK bass, garage, and grime. The opening night promises a high-energy atmosphere with a diverse roster of talent, including sets from Oneman, Girls Don’t Sync, Mantra, Klose One, Smokey Bubblin’ B, Tiffany Quinn, Beatrice M., and Osmosis Jones.
The Main Event: A 23-Hour Marathon
Transitioning into Saturday, the club shifts focus to its primary 23-hour birthday marathon. This segment features a curated selection of house and techno stalwarts who have become synonymous with the fabric sound. Attendees can expect extended performances from club residents and favorites, including Ricardo Villalobos, Craig Richards, Jane Fitz, Francesco Del Garda, Ivan Smagghe, Harry McCanna, and Anna Wall.
The lineup is further bolstered by an international array of heavy hitters, featuring DJ Nobu, DJ Masda, Sama’ Abdulhadi, Freddy K, Gabrielle Kwarteng, Vlada, Tapefeed, and PARAMIDA. This gathering highlights the club’s commitment to fostering a global community of artists, a mission that remains vital as the industry continues to Support Your Local Club.
