Day Zero Tulum 2027: The Jungle Returns with a Massive Global Lineup
The mystical Tulum jungle is set to vibrate once more as Damian Lazarus prepares to host the latest iteration of his iconic festival, Day Zero: Begin Again. Scheduled for January 9, 2027, this gathering continues to serve as the premier pilgrimage for underground electronic music enthusiasts.
This year’s roster is a masterclass in curation, blending established house and techno titans with rising stars. Attendees can look forward to high-energy sets from Keinemusik’s &ME, the genre-defying Vintage Culture, and the legendary Tiga. The bill is further bolstered by heavy hitters like Victor Calderone, LP Giobbi, and the atmospheric sounds of Satori. Other notable acts gracing the jungle stages include Chloé Caillet, Culoe De Song, Robag Wruhme, Mita Gami, Brunello, Dan Ghenacia, Jane Fitz, Mira, Wadley, Deer Jade, and the intricate soundscapes of RPR Soundsystem.
Beyond the headliners, Damian Lazarus himself will take to the decks, joined by a diverse supporting cast featuring Hardt Antoine, Rafael, LUM, Mary Jane, Jawar, Jhnny Chief, Katana, and Soul of Hex. Organizers have also teased that one final, high-profile special guest is still being kept under wraps.
### A Legacy of Mayan Mysticism and Global Expansion
Since its inception in 2012-a year famously marked by the conclusion of the Mayan Long Count calendar-Day Zero has become synonymous with the spiritual and sonic identity of Tulum. While the festival has cemented its reputation in the Mexican rainforest, its influence is now truly global. Following the success of its original home, the brand has successfully exported its unique ethos to new territories, including recent expansions into Brazil and Bali, which saw major editions throughout 2026.
### Championing the Local Scene: The El Teatro Stage
A defining characteristic of Day Zero is its unwavering commitment to the local Mexican electronic community. It holds the distinction of being the first international festival in the region to dedicate a full stage-El Teatro-entirely to homegrown talent. This platform serves as a vital launchpad for Mexican artists to showcase their craft to a global audience. The 2027 edition of El Teatro will highlight the creative prowess of local acts such as Midnight Generation, KinAhau, and Soul of Hex, ensuring that the heartbeat of Mexican music remains at the center of the experience.
