Previous rumors have already suggested that the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S27 Ultra will have a revamped camera island design, with an iPhone-esque plateau taking almost the entire width of the back. Inside it, the cameras will still be laid out in the left part.
According to a new rumor, the telephoto camera will be the one on the right, with a microphone right under it, some unnamed “sensors” under that, and the circular LED flash below those.
This source also notes that the microphone hole seems to be missing from recent renders shown by Ice Universe. However, Ice Universe has responded to this and is now claiming that it’s actually the telephoto camera that’s at the bottom of that arrangement, with the LED flash above it.
Obviously, all of this seems very much in flux still. Not that it really matters that much where exactly the sole telephoto camera of the S27 Ultra will be placed. More important is that there will only be one telephoto, not two like in previous Ultras.
According to a recent certification, the Galaxy S27 Ultra will have a 5,700 mAh battery with support for 60W wired charging.
