Despite the high-profile departure of the design lead behind the initial concept-who was reportedly let go earlier this year-the Type 01 remains remarkably faithful to the controversial visual language of its predecessor. While the vibrant, Miami-inspired pink hue from the concept has been retired (a missed opportunity, perhaps, given the massive cultural anticipation surrounding GTA VI), the core DNA remains intact.
The vehicle retains the dramatic, low-profile stance and the imposing 23-inch wheels that defined the prototype. However, the transition to a four-door configuration provides a sense of visual balance that the original concept lacked, making the elongated silhouette feel more purposeful and grounded.
