Expanding the Squad: Star Wars: Galactic Racer to Double Multiplayer Capacity
Since its debut, Star Wars: Galactic Racer has captured the attention of both the gaming press and the community, earning high praise for its high-octane gameplay. However, as the player base dove into the competitive circuits, a common critique emerged regarding the current multiplayer limitations. Addressing this feedback head-on, developer Fuse Games has officially confirmed that a fix is currently in the works.
Fuse Games Responds to Community Feedback
The studio took to social media to acknowledge the vocal requests from players who felt the current three-person party limit was too restrictive for a game of this scale. In a direct response to fans, the development team confirmed they are actively engineering an update that will expand the maximum party size to six players.
According to the studio, this patch is slated for release in the coming weeks, ensuring that larger groups of friends can jump into the anti-grav action together without needing to split up. While specific technical details regarding the rollout remain under wraps, the team has promised that further information will be shared shortly.
A High-Speed Revival
The excitement surrounding this update is a testament to the game’s strong foundation. Critics have lauded the title for its visual fidelity and intense, adrenaline-fueled mechanics. As noted in the IGN review, the game serves as a brilliant, high-speed revitalization of a classic corner of the Star Wars franchise, effectively reigniting interest in the anti-grav racing genre.
With the upcoming increase to six-player parties, the game is poised to become a staple for social gaming sessions, allowing for more dynamic and competitive matches. By listening to player sentiment so soon after launch, Fuse Games is demonstrating a commitment to the long-term health and enjoyment of their title.
