Ultra Music Festival 2027: A First Look at the Massive Phase 1 Lineup
The anticipation for the 27th installment of the Ultra Music Festival has officially reached a fever pitch. Returning to its iconic home at Bayfront Park in the heart of Downtown Miami from March 26-28, 2027, the festival has unveiled its initial artist roster. This first wave of announcements highlights over 25 powerhouse headliners, showcasing a strategic balance between the high-energy spectacle of the Main Stage and the gritty, immersive soundscapes of the RESISTANCE brand.
Building on Record-Breaking Success
Ultra’s return to Miami follows a historic 2026 season that saw the event reach full capacity. Last year, the festival welcomed 165,000 fans representing more than 100 nations, while its digital footprint expanded significantly, with the #ULTRALIVE broadcast drawing an impressive 42.5 million global viewers. By leveraging this massive momentum, the 2027 Phase 1 lineup aims to elevate the experience through a blend of legacy headliners, exclusive collaborative debuts, and innovative stage production concepts that promise to redefine the festival landscape.
Headlining Titans and Rare Collaborations
The marquee name leading the charge for 2027 is none other than Calvin Harris. The GRAMMY-winning hitmaker, known for his chart-topping anthems alongside global icons like Dua Lipa and Sam Smith, is making his highly anticipated return to the Miami stage. His last performance in 2024 remains etched in the memories of attendees as one of the most electrifying main stage spectacles in recent history.
Beyond solo sets, Ultra is doubling down on unique, high-stakes performances. A major highlight of this year’s announcement is the world-debut back-to-back set featuring Marshmello and Subtronics. This pairing represents a bold fusion of melodic bass and heavy-hitting dubstep, signaling the festival’s commitment to curating one-of-a-kind experiences that fans cannot witness anywhere else.
As the electronic music industry continues to evolve, Ultra Music Festival remains a bellwether for global trends. With the 2027 edition, organizers are clearly aiming to bridge the gap between mainstream pop-crossover appeal and the underground electronic roots that define the RESISTANCE stage.
