A Fresh Take on ‘Foreign Tongues’
Following the successful July launch of Foreign Tongues-which saw the band once again dominating global charts and proving their enduring relevance in the modern streaming era-the group is keeping the momentum alive. On Wednesday, Oct. 14, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame icons revealed that a revamped collection, titled Foreign Tongues: Loose Lips, will arrive on Nov. 27 via Capitol Records.
What to Expect from the Deluxe Tracklist
This expanded edition serves as a deep dive into the creative process behind the original record. The project will include five previously unreleased tracks recorded during the same sessions that produced hits like “Rough and Twisted,” “In the Stars,” “Jealous Lover,” and “Mr. Charm.”
Beyond the new material, the collection highlights “Bad Luck Hideaway.” Originally released as an exclusive iTunes bonus track, this standout duet between Mick Jagger and Keith Richards has recently gained traction as the B-side to the band’s current streaming single, “Mr. Charm.” By bringing this track to a wider audience, the band is ensuring that deep cuts from the Foreign Tongues era receive the spotlight they deserve.
