Unlocking the Beorcan Stronghold: A Guide to Finding Both Twinned Keys
In Dragon’s Dogma 2: Dark Arisen, exploration is often rewarded with gear that can significantly shift the tide of battle. While the main narrative path is compelling, the game’s optional side content-specifically the treasure hunts hidden within fortified locations-offers some of the most potent equipment available. A prime example of this is the locked depository located deep within the Beorcan Stronghold, which requires players to recover two specific items: the Beorcan Twinned Keys.
If you are looking to bolster your inventory with high-tier loot, follow this walkthrough to pinpoint the exact locations of both keys.
Navigating the Depths: The First Twinned Key
To secure the first of the two keys, you must venture into the basement level (B1F) of the Beorcan Stronghold. Accessing this area isn’t as straightforward as walking through a door; you will need to navigate the environment vertically. Head to the eastern portion of the 1F map, where you will spot a hole in the floor. Carefully drop down or climb down the ladder located there to reach the lower level. Once you have descended, the chest containing the first Beorcan Twinned Key will be clearly visible and ready for looting.
Securing the Second Twinned Key
The second key is also tucked away on the B1F level, but it requires a more complex route to reach. Instead of the eastern entrance, navigate toward the southern section of the stronghold. You will encounter four distinct holes in the ground; prioritize the southernmost opening.
After descending the ladder into the basement, proceed through the connecting corridor. You will eventually find another ladder that leads upward into a restricted, gated section of the stronghold. Once you have climbed into this area, you will find the chest holding the second Beorcan Twinned Key. With both items in your possession, you can finally unlock the depository and claim your rewards.
As a tip for players tackling these dungeons, ensure your Pawns are equipped with light sources, as the basement levels of the Beorcan Stronghold can be notoriously dark, making it easy to miss the ladder entry points.
