# Techno Power Couple Nico Moreno and Novah Announce Engagement
The hard techno landscape has a new power couple, as industry heavyweights Nico Moreno and Novah have officially announced their engagement. This milestone follows a whirlwind year for the pair, characterized by both personal growth and a series of high-profile professional collaborations that have solidified their status as a formidable duo in the electronic music world.
## A Rapid Ascent in the Hard Techno Scene
Both artists have carved out distinct yet complementary paths within the high-BPM circuit. Nico Moreno has spent years meticulously building his reputation, fueled by relentless global touring schedules and the strategic development of his influential label, Insolent Rave. His sound has become a staple of the modern industrial techno movement.
Conversely, Novah’s trajectory has been nothing short of meteoric. Since her professional debut in 2022, she has rapidly transitioned from an emerging talent to a festival mainstay. Her discography, which includes notable contributions to labels like Taapion and Tomorrowland Music, reflects a sophisticated approach to production that has earned her prime slots at some of the world’s most prestigious dance music gatherings.
## From Studio Collaborators to Life Partners
The couple’s chemistry extends well beyond their personal lives, frequently manifesting in their shared creative output. Their synergy was perhaps most evident during their marathon five-hour back-to-back set at Brussels’ Rave Rebels, a performance that showcased their ability to command a crowd for extended periods. Furthermore, their collaborative track *Better With You*, featuring KIMI, served as a sonic testament to their partnership, blending their respective styles into a cohesive, high-energy anthem.
In the world of electronic music, where touring schedules often strain personal relationships, the success of Moreno and Novah mirrors other iconic industry pairings-such as the long-standing creative and personal bond between Charlotte de Witte and Enrico Sangiuliano-who have proven that shared artistic vision can strengthen a romantic connection.
## The Social Media Reveal
The couple confirmed their engagement on October 19 via a joint Instagram update. Eschewing a lengthy statement, they opted for a carousel of intimate photographs, including a clear shot of Novah’s engagement ring. The caption, a concise *”She said yes,”* allowed the imagery to speak for itself, sparking an immediate outpouring of support from the global dance community.
The announcement was met with a wave of well-wishes from industry peers. Notable figures including Vini Vici, MORTEN, Mariana Bo, and Maddix were among the many artists who took to the comments section to celebrate the news, highlighting the couple’s well-regarded position within the scene.
