# A Fusion of Rhythms: GROSSOMODDO and MOSKA Unveil “Salseo”
The electronic music landscape continues to evolve as two distinct creative forces collide. GROSSOMODDO and Colombian powerhouse MOSKA have officially joined creative efforts for the first time on their latest single, *Salseo*. Released under HUGEL’s influential label, [Make The Girls Dance](https://www.instagram.com/makethegirlsdance/?hl=en), the track serves as a masterclass in cross-continental collaboration.
## Bridging Mediterranean and Latin Soundscapes
*Salseo* is built upon a foundation of deep, driving Afro house, but it is the infusion of Latin percussion that gives the record its distinct personality. By blending [GROSSOMODDO’s](https://www.instagram.com/grossomoddo.music/) signature Mediterranean-infused house aesthetic with the rhythmic complexity synonymous with [MOSKA’s](https://www.instagram.com/moskahouse/) Colombian roots, the duo has crafted a sound that feels both organic and polished.
The track relies on warm, layered rhythms and crisp, percussive elements that mirror the current trend of “global house”-a genre that has seen a massive surge in popularity, with Afro-Latin fusion tracks accounting for a significant portion of club play in 2026. Much like a well-balanced cocktail, the track balances the steady, hypnotic pulse of house music with the unpredictable, high-energy flair of Latin dance music.
## A Strategic Addition to the Make The Girls Dance Catalog
This release is a significant milestone for both artists. For GROSSOMODDO, it continues a prolific streak of output on the label throughout 2026. Meanwhile, it marks a return to the imprint for MOSKA, who made his debut on the label earlier this summer.
[HUGEL’s](https://www.instagram.com/hugelthug/) Make The Girls Dance has become a primary hub for this specific sonic intersection, consistently championing tracks that bridge the gap between European house sensibilities and Latin-American heat. *Salseo* fits seamlessly into this catalog, acting as a testament to the label’s commitment to high-energy, dance-floor-ready music that transcends borders. As the industry moves toward more collaborative, genre-fluid projects, this partnership stands out as a highlight of the year’s release schedule.
