We Belong Here has officially announced its sixth year at Historic Virginia Key Beach Park, with the Miami festival returning February 26-28, 2027. The announcement comes with significant news beyond the event itself — a major partnership with the University of Miami Frost School of Music to expand music education access for local K-12 students.

The partnership supports the creation of Miami’s first K-12 arts-focused school pathway, connecting Pine Villa Elementary, a high-need Title 1 school, with Arthur & Polly Mays Conservatory of the Arts. We Belong Here’s contribution will fund new elementary choral and string programs, ensuring students have access to music education from kindergarten through high school graduation.

The 2026 festival marked a milestone year for We Belong Here, expanding to three days for the first time and welcoming tens of thousands of attendees to Virginia Key Beach Park. The event also reinforced the festival’s commitment to environmental stewardship and community impact. In partnership with HumanityCares, We Belong Here hosted a post-event beach cleanup bringing together local volunteers, artists, and attendees to restore Virginia Key’s natural beauty. The initiative is part of a broader sustainability platform that includes waste reduction efforts and community partnerships focused on music education across all markets.

The early announcement gives loyal attendees nearly 10 months to plan their return to the beach. The 2027 edition will continue We Belong Here’s evolution in production, programming, and attendee experience while staying rooted in Miami’s culture and community.
