Techno powerhouse Charlotte de Witte has releases her latest project, a new three-track EP titled Amor, out now via her imprint KNTXT.

The EP features Brazilian singer, DJ, and producer CERES, whose breathy vocals and Portuguese lyrics appear across each of the project’s tracks. The collaboration brings a new dimension to de Witte’s signature techno sound, blending driving rhythms with melodic elements and vocal storytelling.

According to de Witte, the project draws inspiration from the culture and spirit of Portugal and Brazil.

A Three-Track Techno Suite

Each track on Amorconnects through subtle sonic motifs, giving the EP a cohesive flow that almost feels like a continuous suite.

The title track ‘Amor’ builds around a galloping techno rhythm layered with atmospheric effects and rising acid elements, while CERES delivers rhythmic Portuguese vocals that evolve throughout the track.

Next comes ‘Sem Ar’, meaning “airless,” which introduces rattling percussion and a faster, breakbeat-adjacent groove. The track features a standout vocal breakdown from CERESbefore morphing into a sharper, acid-infused climax.

Closing the EP is ‘O Movimento’, which translates to “movement.” The track blends a driving beat with crisp hi-hats and layered vocal textures as acid synths gradually enter the mix. The vinyl edition will also include an instrumental version of ‘O Movimento’ as a bonus track.

A Major Year for Charlotte de Witte

The release arrives during a milestone year for the Belgian techno icon. Recently celebrating her 15th anniversary in music, de Witte marked the occasion with two massive performances at Flanders Expo, drawing more than 23,000 fans across the shows.

Her recent debut album and deluxe edition also generated major media attention from outlets including Vogue, Billboard, Rolling Stone, and BBC 6 Music, further cementing her position as one of the most influential figures in modern techno.

Beyond the new EP, de Witte’s global tour schedule for 2026 continues to expand with headline performances planned at major festivals including Time Warp Brazil, EDC Las Vegas, We Love Green, Kappa FuturFestival, Awakenings, and Sónar.

With Amor, de Witte continues to evolve her sound while bringing new collaborators into the KNTXT universe, offering fans a fresh blend of acid techno energy and melodic vocal elements.
