Brazilian duo Immersed — the collaborative project between Öwnboss and Scorsi — have released their new single ‘In Rotation’ via Sony Music. The track is out now across all streaming platforms and marks the latest preview of their forthcoming debut EP, following earlier singles ‘Now You See Me,’ ‘Tantra,’ and ‘The Last Time.

Immersed grew out of a remix the two producers made together under the Öwnboss & Scorsi name — a rework of Nari & Milani’s ‘Atom’ that found its way into sets from Steve Angello and stayed there for years. That early chemistry led the pair to develop Immersed as a dedicated project with its own sonic identity, built around groove, atmosphere, and meticulous sound design. The project has been picking up steam throughout 2026, recently taking the duo to New York City for a promotional run that included meetings at iHeartRadio headquarters, on-camera interviews, and a pop-up DJ set aboard the City Soul school bus — a converted vehicle that has previously hosted Skrillex, Fred again.., and Four Tet.

‘In Rotation’ is their darkest and most dancefloor-focused release under the Immersed name to date. The track opens with wide atmospheric textures and building percussion before dropping into a low-end driven groove. The arrangement cycles between spacious breakdowns and driving club energy throughout, with subtle horn accents weaving through evolving percussion layers. Beatportal, which recently profiled the project, described Immersed as a space where “emotion and impact, melody and weight, euphoria and aggression all coexist inside the same records” — and ‘In Rotation’ leans hard into that tension.

Öwnboss and Scorsi explain the concept behind the track: “We were inspired by the idea of repetition, not as something static, but as something transformative. The same feeling, the same thought, the same motion, repeating over and over while gradually becoming more intense. That’s where the title came from. We wanted the track to keep evolving while staying locked into its groove, creating that balance between tension and release, emotion and impact.”

Outside of Immersed, both artists carry significant weight in the global electronic music scene. Öwnboss broke through internationally with ‘Move Your Body,’ which has cleared 200 million streams and ranked as the fourth most-played track globally in 2022 according to 1001Tracklists. He has released on Spinnin’ Records, Monstercat, and Tiësto’s Musical Freedom, and has played Tomorrowland, Lollapalooza, Rock in Rio, Creamfields, and Ushuaïa Ibiza.

Scorsi brings over two decades in electronic music, with roots in drum & bass and a catalog that spans both underground and mainstream territory — including collaborations with ALOK, NGHTMRE, Autograf, and Tropkillaz. Together, the two are aiming for something distinct from their individual work, with Immersed functioning as its own creative universe.
