By partnering with the OMG Foundation, the artist aims to provide a sanctuary for students aged 11 to 18 who have struggled to find their place within the traditional mainstream education system.

Repurposing St James House for Future Generations

The project centers on the conversion of St James House, a former office complex, into a bespoke educational environment. This facility is designed to serve as both a school and a specialized assessment hub. The timeline for the project is ambitious: the assessment center is slated to begin operations by September 2026, with the full school curriculum expected to launch in January 2027.

The architectural vision for the site goes far beyond standard classrooms. Plans include the construction of a gym, creative studios, and expansive play areas, all designed to foster a therapeutic and inclusive atmosphere. According to the OMG Foundation, the renovation is essential to ensure the space is not only functional but also safe and conducive to the unique sensory and learning needs of neurodivergent students.

A Personal Mission to Unlock Potential

For Giggs, this endeavor is deeply personal. Having spoken candidly about his own autism and the neurodivergence within his family, the rapper views this project as a way to nurture the “superpowers” inherent in neurodivergent minds. “I want to recruit the most brilliant educators-those who truly grasp how to engage with autistic and ADHD-driven minds-to help these students realize their full genius,” Giggs shared via social media.

The need for such facilities is critical. Recent data from the UK’s Department for Education highlights that students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) are disproportionately represented in exclusion statistics. By creating an environment that prioritizes alternative provision, Giggs and the OMG Foundation are addressing a significant gap in the current educational landscape.
