The Hoxton-based music venue and pub, The Lion & Lamb, has officially announced the termination of its professional relationship with co-founder Andre King. In a formal statement released via Instagram on July 6, the “L&L Team” confirmed they are actively pursuing legal and internal avenues to address the situation. The management team emphasized that they are committed to ensuring justice is served, stating, “We want to make it explicitly clear that the L&L team will not continue in any business relationships with Andre King in any capacity.”
The venue is currently navigating the complex legal process required to remove King’s influence entirely, with the goal of preserving the space for the community. Consequently, the pub has suspended all scheduled events for the coming weeks while they restructure their operations to ensure the venue remains completely independent of King.
