In a strategic partnership with the nightlife consultancy VibeLab, ADE is introducing the Nighttime Culture Index (NCI)-a pioneering framework designed to evaluate the cultural health of cities worldwide.

For years, the conversation surrounding nightlife has been dominated by cold, hard financial data. Industry research, such as the Night Time Economy Report, highlights the massive scale of this sector: it accounts for approximately 3% of the global GDP, generates an annual revenue between $3 trillion and $4 trillion, and sustains the livelihoods of one in every ten workers globally.
However, ADE and VibeLab argue that these figures only tell half the story. While economic metrics capture the transactional value of clubs and venues, they fail to quantify the intangible “cultural capital” that defines a city’s identity.
