U2 to Host Exclusive, Intimate London Show for BBC Music This November

U2 to Host Secret London Showcase Ahead of New Album Release

In a departure from their usual massive stadium tours, U2 is preparing for a rare, stripped-back experience. The legendary Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductees have announced an exclusive, intimate concert in central London scheduled for November 3, 2026, hosted by BBC Music.

This unique event offers a stark contrast to the band’s recent 50th-anniversary celebrations, which saw the group return to their roots at Mount Temple Comprehensive School in Dublin. While the band is accustomed to performing for tens of thousands of people-often utilizing cutting-edge technology like the immersive Sphere in Las Vegas-this upcoming gig will prioritize proximity and atmosphere over sheer scale.

A First Look at Carnaval de Luz

Beyond revisiting their extensive back catalog of hits, the band intends to use this platform to debut material from their highly anticipated studio album, Carnaval de Luz. For dedicated followers, this represents a rare opportunity to hear the new creative direction of the band in a setting that feels more like a private rehearsal than a global production.

How to Secure Your Spot

Given the venue’s limited capacity, access is strictly controlled. The location of the performance remains a closely guarded secret, with ticketholders only receiving the address on the day of the event to ensure security and exclusivity.

Fans hoping to attend must enter the official BBC Audiences ballot. Registration is currently open but closes tonight, October 29. You can click here to submit your entry for a chance to be part of this historic night.

Broadcast Details

For those unable to secure a ticket, the BBC has confirmed that the performance will be captured for a special television broadcast. The concert is slated to air on BBC Two in late November, serving as the centerpiece for an entire evening of programming dedicated to the band’s enduring legacy and future projects.
