“A life with me isn’t a life.” “A life with you is the only life I want.” Netflix revealed the official trailer for a series titled Unaccustomed Earth, a stunning new romantic thriller based on stories by Jhumpa Lahiri. This is set for a streaming debut coming up in December this winter. “Beneath every family tree, secrets take root.” In an affluent Indian-American enclave set in Cambridge, MA a hidden romance resurfaces, sending shockwaves through the community & testing cultural bonds, loyalties, and long-held traditions. Inspired by the internationally beloved stories from Jhumpa Lahiri. Starring Freida Pinto, Siddharth, Sarayu Blue, Indraneil Sengupta, Adi Roy, Jayant Kripalani, Justin Bartha, and Iyla Sundarsingh Mckaig. When a wife and mother who sacrificed her first love to honor her father’s wishes gets a life-changing cancer diagnosis, she moves her family from India back to the one place where she truly felt at home – Cambridge, Massachusetts. What a compelling setup for a story with plenty of heavy emotions and intensity and passion following her journey in MA.
