Gorgon City’s REALM Records has a new name on its roster. Australian UK garage producer Osmosis Jones makes his debut on the label with ‘Rockin’ With The Best,’ out now. The single leans into the swing and rhythmic bounce that defines UK garage at its best, built squarely for club systems rather than festival mainstages.
The track has been part of Osmosis Jones’ sets for most of the year, and the response on the floor is reportedly what pushed it toward release. After watching crowds react to it in real time, he passed the record along to Gorgon City, who connected with it immediately and brought it under the REALM Records banner. REALM Records is Gorgon City’s own imprint, built as an outlet for the Chicago-born, UK-based duo to champion sounds adjacent to their own house and garage leanings — exactly the kind of lane Osmosis Jones operates in.
“So glad to have ‘Rockin’ With The Best’ come out, this has been a big one in my sets this year,” Osmosis Jones said. “Just a big bassy fun one for the clubs and subs. Seeing the crowd reaction to this one made me know I had a party starter on my hands.
