Thousands gathered in Michigan this weekend for a one-of-a-kind music experience at Electric Forest. While the festivities occurred, though, tragic news struck the music community this weekend as a newborn baby was found dead in the porta-potty at the campgrounds of the festival.

E-Forest is known for its impromptu performances from the biggest names in dance music, but this news was one surprise that no one was hoping for. Police have reported that the body of the newborn was found Sunday morning at the campgrounds. During a routine maintenance check, an employee of the portable bathroom vending company made the heartbreaking discovery.

Michigan State Police has now made a statement urging anyone who was in the area and may have seen anything unusual to come forward to report what they have witnessed. Anyone who has any information on this disturbing situation can share their reports HERE.
