For over a decade, electronic music icon Tiësto has dominated the global mainstage with a range of sounds from big room to progressive house and melodic techno. Long before he was a fixture on Las Vegas billboards, the Dutch pioneer was the undisputed architect of the global trance movement. In the late ’90s, Tijs Verwest co-founded Black Hole Recordings, giving birth to legendary compilation series like Magik and the iconic In Search of Sunrise. He didn’t just play the sound; he shaped it through side projects like Gouryella (alongside Ferry Corsten).

When his historic In Search of Sunrise remix of Delerium’s ‘Silence’ dropped in 2000, it became an international phenomenon, paving the way for his debut solo album In My Memory (2001). Tracks like ‘Lethal Industry’ and ‘Suburban Train’ defined an era, ultimately making him the first solo DJ to sell out stadium-scale shows and perform live at the Olympic Games. For millions of day-one headliners, Tiësto was trance.

The wait is officially over. Following a series of massive hints across the global festival circuit, Tiësto has confirmed a full-length trance studio album, marking his first dedicated exploration of the genre in a generation. His most recent trance productions include popular hits ‘Bring Me To Life’, ‘Beautiful Places’, and the soon-to-be-released ‘Don’t Lose Your Head’.
