Creamfields 2027 has added another round of names to its 30th anniversary lineup, and this one comes with a genuine first. Martin Garrix and Alesso will play a back-to-back set together in the UK for the first time, landing on the ARC stage on the Saturday of the festival. Sammy Virji joins the bill as well, taking over the APEX stage the following day.
The Garrix/Alesso pairing is being billed as one of the marquee moments of Creamfields’ anniversary year, which makes sense given how rarely either artist shares a bill in this format. The two have history together musically — they co-produced ‘Inside Our Hearts’ — but a full collaborative set is a different proposition than a studio credit, and UK fans haven’t had the chance to see them trade tracks live before.
Garrix needs little introduction at this point. The Dutch producer broke through globally with ‘Animals’ and has spent the years since building out a catalog that includes ‘In The Name Of Love,’ ‘Scared To Be Lonely’ and ‘There For You,’ alongside four DJ Mag Top 100 wins. He also runs STMPD RCRDS, the label he’s used to push up-and-coming producers alongside his own releases.
