“We met Anna Sofia earlier this year and hit it off immediately. The day we
wrote “Forget Your Name” was actually a day we were supposed to finish another song, but Anna came
in talking about this new fakemink song. We loved the contrast of the pretty guitars and hard drums in it,
and thought it could be fun to make something that played with a similar type of contrast. The verse
