Cargo Master is a new game mode for Bootstrap Island where you loot and deliver increasingly difficult cargo for rewards and placement on the global leaderboards. The new update is available now for PC VR with PlayStation VR2 due to follow soon.
It is a little odd to think about competition in Bootstrap Island’s usual isolationist atmosphere, but developer MaruVR is switching things up with Cargo Master.

The potential rewards include items with mystical powers that you cannot find in the main game. The challenges escalate as you complete more runs, forcing you to balance the pre-existing survival elements and resource management mechanics to complete the delivery.
