Electronic music powerhouse Michael Bibi has officially dropped his latest production, “Mobile Groove,” released today, July 10th, through his ELOVATE imprint. The track serves as a playful nod to the early 2000s, centered around a clever, rhythmic sampling of the legendary Nokia 3310 ringtone.
A Spontaneous Creative Spark
The inspiration for the track was entirely organic. Bibi revealed that the concept took root after his brother shared a video featuring the unmistakable, chirpy tones of a vintage Nokia handset. “The sound was looping in my mind for days,” Bibi explained. “I decided to weave it into a beat just for the fun of it, and once I sent it back to him, the energy was undeniable.” To build anticipation, the British producer teased the release on Instagram with a creative unboxing video that highlighted the retro device.

As a co-founder of the influential Solid Grooves label alongside PAWSA, Bibi has seen his brand reach new heights.
