Sonia Kerr Takes the Helm as CEO
In a major leadership shift, Sonia Kerr has been named the new Chief Executive Officer of Testronic. She steps into the role following the tenure of Sharon Baylay-Bell, who will transition into the position of company chair. Kerr brings a wealth of experience to the table, having previously served as the Chief Financial Officer at XR Games. Her background is defined by a proven ability to guide high-growth digital enterprises through complex periods of transformation and international scaling.
Her predecessor, Sharon Baylay-Bell, leaves behind a legacy of modernization. During her time as CEO, Baylay-Bell was instrumental in refining the company’s operational footprint. Her leadership saw the successful expansion of Testronic’s global “Centres of Excellence,” a comprehensive rebranding initiative, and the solidification of the company’s core philosophy: a “Player-Focused, Partner-First, and Outcomes-Led” approach.
Strengthening the C-Suite: New CRO and CCO Appointments
Beyond the CEO transition, Testronic has further fortified its executive bench by appointing Mike Fitzgerald as Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) and Samantha Williams as Chief Commercial Officer (CCO). These appointments are designed to align the company’s commercial strategy with its long-term operational goals.
The leadership team is further rounded out by Mike Wallen, who was appointed as president and main board director earlier this year. Wallen brings extensive industry experience to the role, having previously served as a client partner at Keywords Studios before joining Testronic in 2018 as a senior business development manager. Samantha Williams, who joined the firm in 2025 as a strategic advisor, has rapidly ascended through the ranks, previously serving as global CRO and head of Europe.
