Teletech and Fresh Start Ignite the Night with Hard Techno Firepower

## A New Era of Hard Techno: Teletech and Fresh Start Unite in San Francisco

The San Francisco electronic music scene is set for a seismic shift on January 2, 2027. The iconic dance music venue, The Midway, has announced a high-octane partnership with local live event production company, NPU Live, and the industry-leading event promoter, Insomniac Events. Together, they are launching the collaborative event, Teletech x Fresh Start.

This fusion brings together two powerhouses: Teletech, a highly-regarded global authority in the techno sphere, and Fresh Start, the beloved annual New Year’s weekend festival that has become a staple of The Midway’s winter programming. By merging Teletech’s aggressive, industrial aesthetic with the celebratory atmosphere of Fresh Start, organizers are creating a unique bridge between underground grit and festival-scale production.

### Curating the Hard Techno Vanguard
The programming for this event is a masterclass in modern, high-BPM curation. As hard techno continues to dominate global festival stages-with recent data from platforms like Beatport showing a 30% year-over-year increase in hard-style track releases-this lineup positions San Francisco at the epicenter of the movement.

Attendees can expect a relentless sonic journey featuring heavy hitters such as Eli Brown, I Hate Models, and Nico Moreno. The roster is further bolstered by the high-energy sounds of MADGRRL, Novah, Kloud, Uberrest, and Restricted. These artists represent the current vanguard of the genre, blending classic warehouse techno sensibilities with modern, distorted sound design.

### Immersive Environments: The Three Stages
The event will be partitioned into three distinct sonic environments, each designed to cater to different facets of the hard techno experience.

The centerpiece, the 888 Garage, serves as the primary sanctuary for those seeking an unfiltered, industrial atmosphere. Much like the legendary underground raves of the 90s, this space is engineered to amplify the raw, percussive elements of the music, providing a visceral experience that prioritizes bass-heavy immersion over traditional stage aesthetics. By utilizing the industrial architecture of The Midway, the production team aims to replicate the authentic, gritty vibe that has made Teletech a global phenomenon.
