Pearl Abyss has released a new update for its open-world action-adventure game Crimson Desert. The update is a small one this time around, focusing largely on introducing fixes for a variety of bugs, as well as performance improvements in “certain areas” where frame rates would drop. The update is currently available on Steam for Windows and macOS versions, and PS5. Xbox Series X/S, Epic Games Store, and the Mac App Store versions will be getting the update at a later time.
Other highlights of the update include the ability to feed spotted seals, fixes for monsters with muskets aiming them in awkward directions, and a fix for a crash that could happen when the player approaches a castle or management facility with a large amount of flooring. For more details, check out the full patch notes below.
The update comes just a few days after the release of Crimson Desert’s major expansion – Charting the Unknown. The expansion introduced a host of new aspects to the already-dense game, including the ability to explore the oceans above and below the waters.
