DJI Expands Osmo Pocket 4P Availability to International Markets
Following an exclusive initial launch in China, DJI has officially broadened the reach of its flagship Osmo Pocket 4P. The advanced handheld camera is now accessible to creators across the United Kingdom, Europe, Canada, and Australia. Notably, however, the device has yet to receive a release date for the United States market, leaving American enthusiasts waiting for further updates.
Pricing and Bundle Configurations
DJI has structured its international rollout into two primary purchasing options to cater to different production needs:
- Standard Combo: Priced at £529 or €599, this entry-level package provides the core camera unit, a dedicated fill light, a protective carrying pouch, and a handle equipped with a standard tripod thread. For Canadian customers, the bundle is listed at US$619.
- Vlog Combo: Designed for content creators, this set retails for £605, €689, or US$669 in Canada. It expands on the standard kit by including the Mic Mini 2, a mini tripod, an upgraded carrying case, and the Osmo FrameTap remote for enhanced control.
A Leap Forward in Imaging Technology
The standout feature of the Osmo Pocket 4P is its dual-camera architecture, which represents a significant shift in how compact gimbals handle diverse shooting scenarios. By integrating a high-performance 1-inch primary sensor with a 20mm f/2.0 lens, the device is engineered to excel in challenging lighting conditions.
Beyond the hardware, the camera introduces a sophisticated 10-bit D-Log 2 color profile. This allows for an impressive 17 stops of dynamic range, providing videographers with professional-grade flexibility during the color grading process.
