Blast Off to Canditopia: Ubbi Dubbi 2027 Reveals Galactic Lineup
Prepare for an interstellar journey as the beloved mascots Ubbi and Dubbi trade terrestrial life for a sugary, sonic adventure. Disco Presents has officially pulled back the curtain on the theme and artist roster for Ubbi Dubbi 2027, inviting electronic music enthusiasts to “Canditopia”-a whimsical, confectionery-themed planet where high-energy bass and rhythmic house beats collide.
A Sweet Return to Panther Island
The festival is set to reclaim its home at the scenic Panther Island Pavilion in Fort Worth, Texas. Mark your calendars for April 23-24, 2027, as the eighth iteration of this fan-favorite event promises to transform the waterfront into a vibrant, candy-coated landscape.
Leading the charge this year is melodic bass titan ILLENIUM, who headlines a massive bill featuring industry heavyweights such as Steve Aoki, Galantis, MK, Deorro, Adventure Club, Jessica Audiffred, and Lilly Palmer. The depth of the roster continues with high-octane acts including ACRAZE, Dimension, Flux Pavilion, NGHTMRE, TVBOO, and Holy Priest.
Curated Experiences and Exclusive B2B Sets
What sets the 2027 edition apart is the intentional curation of performance formats. Organizers have introduced a series of “Sunset Sets,” designed to provide the perfect soundtrack as the Texas sun dips below the horizon. These golden-hour performances will feature Adventure Club, Latin Grammy-winning group 3BALLMTY, ŁASZEWO, and Sullivan King.
The collaborative spirit is also in full force, with several high-profile back-to-back (B2B) sets scheduled throughout the weekend. Fans can look forward to the reunion of Crankdat and Wooli as the fan-favorite project WANKDAT. Other notable pairings include:
* FLOZONE B2B STVSH
* JUOS B2B ROMMII
* PANTEROS666 B2B PAWLOWSKI
A Diverse Sonic Spectrum
The festival’s identity remains rooted in its dual-mascot philosophy: Ubbi’s passion for the sophisticated grooves of house and techno, and Dubbi’s obsession with the raw power of dubstep and trap. This year’s undercard reflects that balance perfectly, showcasing rising stars like Kaleena Zanders, Josh Fawaz, Mariana BO, Nic Vans, Zen Selekta, and Distant Matter.
With the global electronic music market continuing to see massive growth-recent industry reports indicate that festival attendance has surged by over 15% compared to pre-pandemic levels-Ubbi Dubbi remains a vital pillar of the Texas dance scene. By blending a wide array of genres, from drum & bass to melodic house, the festival ensures that every attendee finds their own rhythm within the sugary confines of Canditopia.
